About this session
Faculty, researchers, and staff frequently travel abroad to further institutional research, education, or service. While most international business travel do not trigger any export control issues, there are travel scenarios that cause concern and require additional reviews to maintain compliance from various stakeholders. From an export controls perspective, there are key considerations related to foreign travel such as where travelers going, who they will be interacting with, and what they are taking with them. Export Control Programs from Moffitt Cancer Center and Virginia Tech will share their journeys in developing and evolving their international business travel programs while considering institutional policies, state laws, and federal regulations.
Jointly hosted by NC State University and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
