About this session
The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), Office of Export Enforcement (OEE) will provide an overview of BIS, its mission, and its authorities. The session will include updates on recent developments in export regulations and export enforcement. The presentation will feature an examination of the Academic Outreach Initiative, highlighting significant lessons learned. Agents from OEE will present case studies demonstrating specific examples of violations in university academic research, and discuss regulations and best practices to prevent and detect such violations.
