Biography

Teresa Zash has been the Research Compliance Officer at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since May 2023, where she leads federal and state regulatory compliance for basic and clinical research and is building the Insitute's export control and research security programs. Prior to Dana-Farber, she spent seven years at UMass Chan Medical School, where she managed conflict of interest/conflict of commitment, foreign influence, export control, and international travel and collaborations. Before getting into research, she spent seven years in global operations and risk management for a global health NGO and few boring years as a corporate finance associate for a law firm. She lives in Worcester with her wife, their two pre-teen boys and the world's best labradoodle.
